Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is an English actress and activist. She has gained recognition for her roles in both blockbusters and independent films, as well as her women’s rights work. Watson has been ranked among the world’s highest-paid actresses by Forbes and Vanity Fair and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2015.
Watson confirmed she would be partnering with Burberry and People Tree, a fair trade fashion brand on 2009. she continued her involvement in fashion advertising on Lancôme in March 2011. In 2013, Madame Tussauds in London unveiled a wax statue of Watson. She wore a Calvin Klein gown to the 2016 Met Gala made out of recycled plastic bottles.
In June 2020, Watson was appointed the youngest member of the board of directors of Kering, A global Luxury group, which manages the development of a series of renowned Houses in Fashion, Leather Goods, and Jewelry: Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, as well as Kering Eyewear.
