Abxylute handheld console is priced at around 200$, which makes it one of the more affordable cloud gaming devices when compared to other devices like the Logitech g-cloud. it is definitely less powered than the Logitech. I can tell you straight away that it is going to struggle with some native gaming and emulation.
When we take a closer look at the handheld itself, the Abxylute handheld game console has a pretty modern design with an aluminum shell that gives it a sturdy, premium feel. When compared to the Logitech G-cloud, it may not feel quite as comfortable in your hands, but it does feel good, and believe it or not, it actually feels slightly more premium on the front.
You’re going to find the d-pad to the left which actually feels fairly tactile and responsive. To the right, there are going to be four action buttons and these buttons are clicky and comfortable.
The analog sticks are another highlight. they’re Hall Effect switch-style joysticks which means they use magnetic sensors to avoid joystick drip. These sticks are smooth and precise giving you excellent control in fast-paced games.
Below the two sticks, there are two additional buttons- the menu and home buttons. Now these are super handy for navigating the UI and jumping back and forth into the menu screens. The stack shoulder buttons are positioned on the top edge of the device and they’re actually fairly well placed and easy to press without feeling cramped adding to the overall ergonomic design of the handheld. and I will mention that the size of the L and R 2 buttons is much better comparing it against the Logitech G-cloud.
All right, now let’s go ahead and get technical for a moment. Abxylute cloud gaming handheld features a 7-in LTPS display with a full HD resolution of 1920*1080. The screen is both vibrant and sharp under the hood. It’s powered by the Mediatech Mt8365 paired with 4GB of lpddr4 RAM. The built-in storage is 64GB expandable via that micro SD card.
Battery life’s actually pretty impressive thanks to the 5200 mAh battery that promises up to 8 hours of continuous gameplay on a full charge. In my testing, I found that was pretty close to what you’d get when playing games.
This device is made for cloud gaming. Now I tested the Abxylute with Xbox game pass, Xbox Remote Play, Steam, and PlayStation Remote Play and the results were pretty impressive when connected to my own home network. Streaming games via Xbox Game Pass was really smooth with low latency and minimal artifacting. Games like Forza Horizon 5 ran seamlessly making it hard to believe that they were being streamed and not actually played locally. however, the absence of Wi-Fi6 means you’re going to need to stay relatively close to your home router for optimal performance.
In summary, the Abxylute handheld could be a compelling device for anyone interested in cloud gaming. Its obvious strengths lie in its ability to stream games from platforms like Steam, Xbox PlayStation, or anywhere else with minimal issues. However, its limitations in local gaming and more demanding emulation shouldn’t be completely ignored.
So the Abxylute cloud gaming handheld is an exciting addition to the market. it does offer a lot of value for its price particularly for cloud gaming enthusiasts while it has its limitations. It’s a device for gamers looking to dip their toes into the world of cloud gaming without breaking the bank.
G-cloud

G-cloud handheld console is an Android-based device that runs the Snapdragon 720g as its processor. It is an older chipset at this point so it was mostly focused on cloud gaming.
Another thing worth noting is the display. this is a 7-in LCD panel with a 1080P resolution and a 16X9 aspect ratio and that works really well especially when it comes to streaming. The retail price is still high. But thankfully Best Buy or Amazon, they have basically permanently discounted.
As to d-pad diagonals, pushing on a diagonal on this device is pretty hard. There’s not a lot of pivot to the d-pad and so as a result when you’re trying to hit one of those diagonal movements, it is not very simple to do. you can do it if you mash down on it but it doesn’t feel very natural.
Fortunately, the analog sticks on this device are pretty great. They are a fairly large size and I’ve always found the sticks to be fairly precise. As long as you don’t mind using an analog stick instead of a D-pad with certain games, I think it’s a nonissue.
If you’re still here read this post, I will talk about all the reasons why I like the G-cloud. so to start let’s talk about the build quality and ergonomics. This is a very solid fielding handheld. It just feels like one connected piece of plastic. It’s very nice to hold in the hands.
I still think this is one of the best ergonomics available on any handheld. It was designed with human hands in mind. The next point is the streaming capability. It’s still a very positive experience. you can play on many platforms. The next aspect I want to talk about is going to be the rumble and haptics. This is a big positive for me. It feels really subtle and just kind of 3D feeling.
When I first bought this device back, I really hurt. But I don’t regret it because it’s a device that I use all the time and I feel like I have earned my money back. and I do find that a little bit surprising coming for me. There are a couple of reasons for that. One is I can play a lot of the emulated systems that I like, the other is the battery life is really good. You can get on average about 12 hours of battery life.
Other devices may be more powerful or cheaper, but G-cloud has an excellent balance between ergonomics, screen size, and the ability to play many different things at once.
